Major Failure

Replacement or Refund
In the unlikely event the goods you purchased from us experience major failure then we will provide a replacement or full refund of your purchase price plus compensate you for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

  2. Within a reasonable amount of time

Poor Quality or Minor Failure
Repaired or Replacement
In the unlikely event the goods you purchased from us experience minor failure or don’t live up to reasonable quality levels then we will repair the goods or provide a replacement.

  1. When accompanied by Proof of Purchase (BJM Receipt)

Extra Warranties against Defects or Express Warranties
Repaired, Replacement or Refund
In the unlikely event the goods you purchased from us don’t live up to the Manufacturers promise then we will repair the goods, provide a replacement or refund your purchase price.

  1. When accompanied by a Proof of Purchase (BJM Receipt)
  2. Excludes 2nd hand goods

Workshop Guarantee (Services) Excludes “On the Spot” service
Make Right
In the unlikely event your Booked Workshop Service does not live up to our Pre Service Assessment promise, we will fulfil that promise at no cost to you. (Excludes parts)

7 Day Right of Return (Goods) Excludes Customer orders and Clearance Lines
Exchange or Store Credit
If you decide that the product does not quite suit your requirements (e.g. size, incompatibility), you can return it within 7 days from the purchase date under the following conditions.

  1. Product hasn’t been used, is not damaged and is in it’s original packaging
  2. When accompanied by Proof of Purchase (BJM Receipt)

Fair and Reasonable (Goods and Services)

Hey, we, the staff and management at Brompton Junction Melbourne are consumers as well, and we know what is “Fair and Reasonable”. So if you are at any stage not satisfied with the outcome of your transaction with Brompton Junction Melbourne, please request to talk with the Manager, as we know the importance of happy customers.


Change of Mind (Goods)

Parts and Accessories
For all good returned within 7 days and still in original condition for resale we will provide in store credit. No refunds provided for change of mind.


Freight and Postage
Freight and postage charges are costs accepted entirely by the customer and will not be refunded or credited to the customer’s account.


Deposits

Pre-ordered Bikes
To pre-order a standard Brompton bike from a shipment that has not yet been received by our store, we require a 20% deposit.

Cancellation requests should be emailed to melbourne@bromptonbikes.com.au.

We will refund 50% of the deposit amount to customers who advise us that they need to cancel their order at least 14 days prior to our best estimate of the shipment arriving in store. You should not consider your cancellation request has been received until you receive a reply email from us. 

Once we have received your Brompton from the supplier no refund of the deposit amount will be considered should you decide to cancel your order.

Custom Order Bikes
We do not guarantee any refund of a deposit for a custom-build Brompton once the customer’s order has been submitted.

Parts and Accessories – Brompton stock items
Parts and Accessories (“P&A”) which are temporarily out of stock may be pre-ordered. A deposit or payment in full may be requested. We do not guarantee to refund your deposit amount should you cancel your order.

Parts and Accessories – Aftermarket items
Parts and Accessories (“P&A”) which are specifically ordered for you must be paid in full in advance. We do not guarantee to refund your payment should you choose to cancel your order either a) prior to the goods arriving or b) after the goods have arrived due to a change of mind or c) due to damage in transit for which we cannot be held accountable.
